Textbook Search

To find a book list for a course, first select the department. Then enter the course number and section number to get the book list for that specific course. Leave the course number and section number blank if you'd like to see a list of all of the courses for a department. Lists will only be shown for the listed term.

Carleton College Textbook Search

The Carleton Text Value Pack has ended. We will be unable to process any Value Pack orders or online textbook orders after this time. No exceptions.

Carleton Text Value Pack orders will be available for pickup in the lower level of the Bookstore on Sunday, January 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Carleton Value Packs cannot be picked up in advance of January 3. A valid I.D. is necessary to pick up your textbooks.

Due to time constraints, the bookstore does not have the time to devote to putting all ISBNs online this year, or to provide students with ISBNs for their specific courses. Because of the time and complexity involved, most college bookstores do not offer ISBNs online. We are unable to fulfill phone or email requests for textbook ISBNs.

All textbook orders are subject to our textbook return policy:
A receipt is required for every return.

Winter term 2010 textbooks are eligible for return during the first five weekdays of the term (through Friday, January 8).

After January 8, textbooks may be returned until mid-term break (Monday, February 8) only with Bookstore verification that a class has been dropped.

No returns whatsoever will be accepted after Monday, February 8.

Text Value Pack online discount textbook purchases are eligible for return using these same guidelines.

New textbooks must be returned in mint condition without highlighting or writing, bent corners, or damaged covers. Wrapped textbooks and bundled course materials are not
eligible for return if opened.

A textbook list for any future term will be incomplete and undergoing constant revision until the term actually begins. It is not uncommon for a title to appear on the list for a period of time and then be removed for one of several reasons. One should be aware of this when purchasing books before the beginning of any term. Questions about this information should be directed to the Carleton Bookstore's textbook manager.
